Week 13 - Inti Raymi

Okay i forgot to mention happy fathers day to all the fathers out there in the world!!! You are all a blessing in our lives and i am so grateful for all of my coaches, teachers, friends who are my parents friends but my friends too and grandpas and uncles and literally every father figure there is!!! As a zone we went to the bus terminals and we went around contacting everyone!! We had people write notes to the dads all over the world and we put the sticky notes on a poster so everyone could see!!! It was super fun and i loved it so much!!!   Something super funny about this week is one of the elders in our district is basically a mind reader and says i am the color blue and he knew i was one of the oldest in my family because i act more like the mom and my comp is the youngest because she is depends on others more and hahaha it was so funny because we looked at eachother and realized how true that is. We ate yogurt and granola all last week and so this week we said we were going to cook something every morning and it ended up being me who cooksevery morning and does more of the mom things and she is more of the child. It was pretty funny honesly.  But tuesday  we have a ton of people progressing but they all stalled like not excited for baptism or the next step and so we prayed to see progression and that day we had 3 citas and the first is familia casasilla and we taught to there needs and doubts and they are ready to find a day to get married!!! Wohoo the next is familia Farinango,they stopped reading the book of mormon and we kept giving them chapters to read and nothing but this vitist they said they started reading the book of mormon again and were listening to it for like an hour!!! they have a date set for the 6th of july!!! the other family, familia bonilla, they want to get baptized in january and that day she asked what happens to those that pass on without the gospel and we shared about temples and the work for the dead and she mentioned that they need to get baptized fast so she can go do her moms work!!! We are praying that they accept a date for july 20!!! Ah all three of these families are so good!! here they have a celebration called inti raymi and it is where they celebrate the sun god and they dance in the streets and everyone is having parties all over the place and they basically throw live chickens around... its super sad and the only part i dont like about it. But with that everyone is super happy and super open to listen and its amazing!! but they are so amazing they plan visits and then when we show up they are out dancing for inti raymi... casi! Pero the ward put together a group to dance with and they went around to all the people we are teaching and danced with them until 1am... dont worry hermana lovell and i only danced in the house and were home by 9 haha. Man i love the mission a lot and it is such an amazing experience to see the change in people and to see how there lives change completely!!! This gospel truly is the happinss we are all looking for and everyone deserves a chance to accept it. Be kind and loving to everyone. Dont judge just love and your life will be so much better. Thats not only a promise from me but from our Heavenly Father. He loves us all and wants the best for all of us!! I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH AND PRAY FOR YOU ALWAYS. Week 12 - Chicken Foot

Hey hey hey everyone you get to hear directly from me this week!!! Sorry for the spelling i dont like spelling. Im not good at it. hahaha okay to start off i would just like you all to know that God truly listens to our prayers. He loves each and every one of us and He wants what is best for us. I love the peace i feel knowing that he has everything planned for me. He knows what i need and when i need it and he knows each and every one of you. He wants what is best for you and he is preparing us all for the challenges we will face. Even the most simple prayers he answers and i can testify of that!!!! We have a ton of investigators who are just stuck. Not really progressing. But they are amazing!! So one night before we headed out to our meetings, we prayed specifically to see progress in our investigators, and guess what, no joke, one family is working on getting the money to get married so they can be baptized, another family is reading the book of mormon on there own!!!! and the other family is thinking about moving their baptismal date a little sooner than january!!! Super little things but those little things is what is going to help them recieve their salvation!!!! De verdad, everyday is basically the same, lots of lessons and lots of miracles and I LOVE IT!!!!  Tuesday was amazing. Xavier, who has his baptismal date this saturday is fasting for his tests and everything and is reading and praying and wow he is so ready!!!!! wohooo!!! Also the ward is amazing. They come to lessons with us a lot and they are so helpful!!! If you can go out with the missionaries!!! Wednsday, Sometimes i get excited when we are teaching a topic i like and i talk too much but hey im learning.... hahaha but we had so many lessons today and two dinners which wow the food here is so good and so healthy!!! I LOVE IT!!!! But the families we are teaching are doing so good!!! Thursday, hahahaha learned a big lesson. We have neighbors that are both learning about the gospel and we had a lesson together but they ended up just teaming up against us and now they have more doubts.. BUT we cleared it all up and theyre still great hahaha but no more lessons together!!!! Friday, I ate a chicken foot and it was so good. I dont know why you throw it out. It is literally the best part of the chicken!!!!! Saturday, Sad day. We ended up dropping xavier. He said he doesnt want to be baptized becuase he loves the world too much. He knows it is important but he doesnt want to commit. His mom is super sad about that but we will return in two weeks to see how hes doing and if he feels ready to be baptized. Yeah he is the one that fasts and prays and reads and it is hard but we are going back in 2 weeks!!! Week 11 - Hiking All Day Everyday

Wow wow what a week!! It flew by!! I hope you all are doing so good and just loving life!!! It is hard sometimes.... well most of the time but the reward at the end is worth it all!!! Guess what that reward is.... SALVATION!! Congratulations to all who guessed right! We go through hard things to learn and to grow. To become better everyday and to understand others pain and afflictions. That is why Christ suffered for all of our pains, sorrows, and afflictions! So we dont have to go through thislife alone!!! It is truly amazing what He did for us and the best way for us to show our gratitude for His great sacrifice is to live the gospel and spread it to everyone everyday!!! AND ITS NOT HARD!!! Go to church, read your scriptures, and pray and then live the gospel. Spread the gospel by your example and never be afraid to stand up for your religion. Jesus Christ died came to this earth, established His church, sufferred every feeling we have ever felt and then died on the cross for us!!! We owe Him our lives. Tuesday : Wow today was seriously so good. We had district counsel and elder hatch our district leader had a little activity for us and so we read a chapter in the book of mormon and then prayed to know that the book of mormon is true. And i cant even begin to express my love for the book of mormon. The feelings i felt during the prayer were so strong and distinct and it was such a special moment. I seriously encourage all of you to do the exact same thing!!! YOU WILL LOVE IT! We legit hike to our lessons too and holy wow i am going to have killer leg muscles when i come home hahaha It is also so pretty here and rains a ton and I LOVE THE RAIN WOHOOOOOO!!! Wendsday : wow i love this talk by elder rendlund... i think.. not 100% sure but he talks about how nephi and lehi never asked why or how but they just went and did. That is how we should react to all the situations that happen to us in this life. God has a plan and he is in charge and he has everything under control, so just go and do. Stop questioning. Its hard trust me but when you do, not only you receive blessing but you will see miracles. We had a lesson with family bonilla and they are so cute!! they accepted baptism but want it in january.. please keep them in your prayers that they can receive the promised blessings of baptism and the gift of the holy ghost and have the desire to be baptized sooner!!!  Thursday : We had zone conference today and sad day but it was my first and last zone conference with president and hermana Murphy!! awe but hey we had mexican food for lunch and it made me miss some of the mexican food that was cooked for us in AZ!! We also got lemonade in a bag! HOW SWEET IS THAT! haha i love the mission and i love the lessons i am learning everyday! Friday :hahahaha okay funny story at lunch i was eating the meat and we use our hands and so i was trying to rip it and it slipped out of my fingers and landed on Hermana Lovells arm and holy it was the funniest thing ever!!! Good thing the family was out of the room but wow i was laughing so hard! Today was a good day to full of wonderful lessons! Saturday : We litterally walked everywhere today and all our lessons fell through but we were able to find a family that we havent been able to find and that was a miracle!!! we also had one amazing lesson at night with this cute cute family!! They came to church awhile ago but stopped coming :/ hopefully they can find the joy the gospel brings again and come back!! Sunday : Wow we had 10 of our friends at church and they all loved it!!! One of them chose to come to church because he had a dream about the devil trying to baptize him or something and he turned and asked US MISSIONARIES for help!! hahaha little strangethat we were in his dream but because of that he chose to come to church!!!! YAYAYAYAYA We are teaching a lot of wonderful families right now and they could all use your prayers!! They love the gospel and are putting there faith to action and we know that they can receive their answers through there actions. Wow this work is something i wish all could experience and guess what you all can! I can testify that this church changes lives and brings light into every dark situation. The Lord loves each and every one of you and He will bless you through your actions. Never give up on Him because He will never give up on you!!! I love you all and am praying for you all!!!! Week 10

Gotta be quick and sorry the keyboard is super hard to type on!! I LOVE ECUADOR Tuesday I got to meet hermana bednar!! she gave me a hug and we got to listen to elder bednar and he is amazing!! We learned a lot about how we should teach and it is definetly by the spirti! the spirit is the teacher and we are the instruments. It was super powerful and amazing!  Wed we finally got to my sector!! Im in san pablo and we get to hike to our lessons!!! so FUN I LOVE IT EXCEPT THE ELEVATION CHANGE!!! the food is so good too!! wow i love this place the rest of the week was a lot of contacting and a lot of lessons and a lot of pigs... there are a ton here. But wow i love the mission so much. The families we are teaching are great and so ready for the gospel. We went on a run the other morning and got lost but wow it is beautiful... yeah so sorry next week i will be better but I love you all and i am praying for you all!!! continue being amazing and ill talk to you all soon!!!!
